Paint the Whole ‘Wold With a Rainbow

A late afternoon cloudburst at Southwold’s harbour campsite copse delivered a newly-arrived Yellow-browed Warbler, and a truly intense rainbow over the town. Despite being limited to a fixed telephoto lens, I swiftly reacted to capture the juxtaposition of the ephemeral polychromatic event and iconic lighthouse. Less zoom, more wide angle would’ve given the perfect perspective. Alas, the best lens is always the one that isn’t with you.
