Owl You Need is Love

In search of a wintering Bittern in north Norfolk’s Glaven valley, I found myself in a prime alba landscape. As the sun waned, both the Bittern and Barn Owl duly emerged for supper. The light-gathering abilities of my Canon 500mm f/4 lens came to the fore in the quest for action-freezing light. Barn Owls are, well, lovely.
